Summer Cookouts

Threads' favorite summer rhythm! Join us every other week for these casual and relaxed opportunities to share a meal, maybe play a yard game or two, and enjoy unhurried time together as a community. All are welcome!

Hosts typically grill hot dogs and provide drinks, while guests bring a side or sweet to share Threads provides paper/plastic tableware.

Join us this summer, June 17 - August 12, as we create welcoming space for children every :Wednesday morning at Threads' Tiny park (1310 Hays Park Ave). Sign up below if you'd like to volunteer!

Monday Lunches for the Unhoused

We have a weekly opportunity to serve the unhoused alongside WMed's Street Medicine Clinic on Mondays. Use the button below to sign up to contribute food or serve on site.

Book Discussion
Starting 12:30p Thursday, June 18

Grown-up VBS: why let the kids have all the fun? Join us on Thursdays over the lunch hour to engage with the book "Better Ways to Read the Bible." In the spirit of VBS we'll enjoy a snack and a bit of fun, too. Grab a camp chair and meet at Threads' "Tiny Park" (weather permitting). Feel free to bring your lunch.
