Advent can sneak up on us, but it is a deeply meaningful season that invites us into intentional quietness, waiting, and hope as we anticipate Christmas. To help you observe this special time, we've provided a few resources below. Feel free to reach out if you'd like book recommendations!
Fuel Christmas Party
Saturday, December 6th

For 7th - 12th graders:
Join us at the church for cookie decorating, a white elephant gift exchange, and games!

Christmas Caroling
Saturday, December 13th
5:30pm
Meet us at Milwood United Methodist Church to experience their life nativity.
6:30pm
Head out as a group to go caroling in the Edison and/or Milwood Neighborhoods.
Breaking Bread with Milwood UMC
Sunday, December 14th
Immediately after our worship gathering
As we continue conversations with Milwood United Methodist Church (3919 Portage St) about the possibility of sharing space for ministry and worship, they have invited us to gather over a meal for each congregation to have an opportunity to meet and connect with one another.
Game Night
Saturday, December 20th

Join us at the Bell Family’s home for a holiday game night for the whole family.
Bring a snack or treat to share. Feel free to bring your favorite game(s)!
Longest Night Gathering
Sunday, December 21st

Join us for a time of music and reflection as we lean into the reality of grief during this season of long nights and holiday heartache.
Christmas Eve Gathering
Wednesday, December 24th

Join us for our annual candlelight gathering - an
evening of song and reflection for the whole family.
Newcomers' Lunch
RESCHEDULED: Sunday, January 18th, Join us at the Tuckers’ home after church.
This lunch is for anyone who would like to meet some more Threads people, learn more about Threads, and have a chance to hear some of our story and share some of yours!

Threads Community Groups offer small groups dedicated to discipleship, service, and deep community, welcoming new members at any time during their flexible 10-12 week sessions.
These open groups gather weekly for warm fellowship, shared discussion around various resources, and often include snacks or service opportunities.
